Today we have friends coming for tea and cake so we thought we ought to whip up a little something...............a little something quite flat! This cake was actually supposed to be cut down the middle and sandwhiched together but I thought it was little too thin to start slicing it up. It then became apparent that our cupboard was lacking icing sugar to make butter icing so I had to melt an Easter Egg to spread on the top!
